- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup blueberries
- 3/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 6 cups of water
Start by making the blueberry syrup. Combine sugar and 1 cup water in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Stir in blueberries and bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until blueberries have broken down, about 3-4 minutes.
Stars: 4! This was great, and so refreshing. We were given a bit of a pause, because it's not that super tart "lemonade" taste that you typically get. However, it was really good. Also, it got better after sitting in the fridge for about 2 hours. Next time, I think I'll add half of the water first and see how it is before adding the other half, just to try it. But this was the perfect drink to come to after walking in from a hot summer's day. I will definitely be making this again!
