Fruit + Sugar + Water. Seriously.
Ok, so it's slightly more complicated- it's chopped fruit and simple syrup (i.e., water + sugar). So. You should tell people it's very complex.
The ratios are roughly 2 cups fruit, 1/4-1/2 cups water, and 1 1/4 cup simple syrup.
Step one- chop fruit. Keep any juice that drips while you're cutting.
Stars: The sorbet method- 5 stars. This particular mango sorbet- 4 stars. I think when I do mango again I'll strain the fruit first- it was mostly unnoticeable, but you would occasionally get fiber strands in your mouth, which isn't the most appetizing thing! That wouldn't be a problem for other fruits, and with those it'd probably actually be nice to get the small chunks of fruit that would come from not fully blending and not straining.
