Fresh Ground Pepper

Fresh herbs of choice, like dill, cilantro, basil, etc
Make a piece of foil for each cob. Approximately 12" x 12" - depends on the size of your corn, but you want to be able to roll it up a couple of times and fold the ends over.
FOR THE BASIC RECIPE: Pour olive oil on and spread with a brush. Sprinkle with sea salt and pepper to taste. Position the corn near one edge and roll it up. Fold over the ends.
4-6 ears - 2 hours on High, 3-4 hours on Low
8-10 ears - 3 hours on High, 5 hours on Low

BUTTER GARLIC: Substitute melted butter for olive oil. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
PESTO: Don't make the basic recipe. Instead, spread with pesto.
SIRACHA: Make the basic recipe, then brush siracha to taste.
FRESH HERB: Make the basic recipe. Sprinkle with the herb(s) of your choice.

I ended up making a "control group" - 1 of each flavor, because I wasn't sure I had time before dinner to get these cooked! And... DRUM ROLL... the crock pot ones won! The texture is great!
I made 3 flavors: basic, garlic butter, and chili lime. Here's how we liked them:
Basic - 3 stars from me, 5 stars from my husband.
Garlic Butter - my favorite, 5 stars. 3 from my husband.
Chili Lime - 3 1/2 stars from both of us. It needed more salt, but that's on me and easily fixed
