1 box of saltines crackers
1 c of Canola Oil
1 package of dry Ranch dressing packet
2T crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Note- the recipe called for using 1 whole box, and I cut it down to use half of one sleeve.
Open the box of crackers, place all crackers in a gallon zip lock bag. Pour oil in a small bowl, mix ranch dressing and red pepper, stir well. Pour the oil mixture into the bag of crackers, Shake vigorously, and shake several times over a 24 hour period.
Stars: 4 stars! These are seriously delicious! They are SO easy, and super cheap. My main issue with the recipe is that they had absolutely no need to be shaken and sit over a 24 hours period. They tasted exactly the same during minute 1 as they did after 24 hours. Which... is a funny issue, because basically the issue boils down to, "these are easier than you said they would be!" Which is not a bad problem to have.
