Evidently, there is a thing at Disney World called a Dole Whip. The Dole Whip is widely reported as being delicious, dairy-free, and well-loved. So naturally, someone tried to make a “healthy” and easy version of it with only 2 ingredients and put it on Pinterest. Let’s see if it lives up to the hype!
- 1.5 cups of pineapple
- 3/4 cup low-fat milk
Cut pineapple into chunks and freeze.
Combine in a blender, blend until smooth.

Stars: 1. This was terrible. It wasn’t delicious, dairy-free, or well-loved. The combination tasted so strange, and just… bad. I looked up a couple of other, more “complicated” Dole Whip recipes, and tried to alter it to get something edible. Based on those recipes, I added sugar and lemon juice. It was definitely better (maybe 3 stars if we’re a bit generous), but it still certainly wasn’t good. Just goes to show: if you want Disney quality, you probably want more than 2 ingredients!
